It's according to male.
"madrelingua" is always "madrelingua" with "a" at the end. No matter if it is refering to a male or to a female person. So this sentence is not correct.

Maybe "lingua madre" instead of "madrelingua". I'd use "madrelingua" to refer to a native speaker of a certain language
