  1. ^ that should have been "She's wearing eyeshadow."

I'm changing it to my version, feel free to argue the point.
  2. I think the original version is OK. For written English, anyway.
  3. I know what you're getting at with this change, but I'd like to be sure that it doesn't sound stilted or clumsy. I'd like to get some second opinions, if you don't mind.
  4. en français correct on dirait "ça m'a beaucoup aidé". "ça m'a aidé beaucoup" sonne "étranger", même si techniquement la phrase est correcte.
  5. did I lack patience ? It was blay_paul who demanded that I add a ".", no sooner had I typed my sentence (I guess he's spending his time over my shoulder, for some reason...)
  6. Agreed. You can change things like that yourself (but I might ask them to be changed back if I disagree with them ;-).
  7. Actually I don't think people would use "get soft" in that way. I think it should be unlinked.
  8. Thanks for correcting this. I think using kanji with 一つおき would be a bit more usual, though.
  9. Estas iel malfacile, kiam oni komparas la frazon kun nur unu konata lingvo, do tio iel min malinstigas.
  10. What do you mean ?
  11. Oops - typo.
  12. Full-stop please.
  13. cette phrase est ambigüe en français, on ne sait pas s'il s'agit d'une question ou bien d'un ordre, ce qui se traduit différemment selon les langues...
  14. Plutôt "que tu t'en ailles", à mon avis.
  15. Yes, I noticed this too. I spoke with sysko a few days ago, and he told me that the script should be adapted to tags, and it will run after everything is fixed^^
  16. Ready for deletion.
  17. je confirme que c'est "t'a"
  18. « t' » est le complément d'objet, pas le sujet. C'est bien « t'a ».
  19. effectivement, merci :)
  20. Non non, c'est bien t'as (deuxième personne du singulier)
  21. "Tiu juna homo..." ŝajnas stranga frazo por franculo (eble nur par mi).
La esperanta vorto "homo" signifas "homo sapiens" ĝenerale,
En la franca, se mi diras "jeune homme", tio signifas "juna viro" ĉar ni havas la saman vorton por "homo" kaj "viro".(kiu estas "homme").

Normale mi devus nur traduki "juna homo" per "jeune personne" (ne definita) por esti tre ĝusta.
Finfine mi pensas ke mi komplikas! Pardonu min. :-)

  22. So, how should it be tagged? 'French French'?
  23. Please notice this : breakfast is translated "petit déjeuner" in France but "déjeuner" in Switzerland. Difference is important because "déjeuner" in France mean "dinner" / "lunch".
  24. In fact it's a nice example of Imperative mood... :o

If I add 'Repair your watch' or 'Have your watch repaired' as translations, would it be OK?
  25. Please replace 6 with the full-width 6 for consistency.

  29. Hi,
I've deleted the English and Japanese entries this was linked to as it wasn't much of a 'sentence'. You might want to delete this as well, or you could change it and the French entry to something more substantial.
