Ok, but it implies a problem in the original translation. I'm not an expert in Japanaese but I can understand the Japananese translation and it does not seem to mean the original sentence. I believe the Japanese translation here is wrong (or vis versa). Can a native confirm this?
This doesn't translate to "This may be research my secretary did". More like, "I'll look this over with my secretary." or "I'll research this with my secretary".
We usually say "去年我买了这本书" or “去年我没买这本书”。
去年我买了这本书。= I bought this book last year.
去年我没买这本书。= I didn't buy this book last year.
我不买这本书了。= I won't buy this book.
我不买了。= I won't buy it.
OK, sorry for the misunderstanding. Is chinese grammar is using past tense like a european language? Because, if I say, Qunian wo bu mai le zhe ben shu, is it wrong than Qunian wo mei mai le zhe ben shu?? Xiexie ni, dajie ^^
