This sentence os currently linked to "Sit down and take it easy for a while." The Japanese doesn't mean that - it means "He said 'Goodbye everyone' and stood up". I don't know how to create a new English sentence.
if you want to create a new sentence
it's the contribute section :)
I think Jim wanted to add a new translation for the Japanese sentence...
If this is the case, then you have to click on the second icon (あ->a), and add your text (He said 'Goodbye everyone' and stood up).
Then "He said 'Goodbye everyone' and stood up" will be linked to "彼は「みなさん、さよなら。」と言って立ち上がった。".
We still need a feature to unlink sentences though. Because for now it's not possible to detach "Sit down and take it easy for a while" from the Japanese sentence even though it's not the right translation...
Thanks. I have added the new (correct) translation. Yes, we need a way of delinking an error like that.
This should be unlinked from the original English, right?
YES! OK, done. Only 3.5 years late....
