What would this translate to in English?

I would take the yellow one.

But I think that in a store, a Frenchman would say "would take", an Englishman "will take" and an Italian man "take". Can somebody confirm?

I don't know about the others, but English would definitely be "I'll take".

well, actually we could say both. Condiational is more of an intention, and future is more like an order...

"I'll take" is more of an intention. So it matches the French conditional better in practice.
