[#9927094] 橋本龍太郎氏は、初代・伊藤博文から数えて53人目の首相である。

This has completely broken a Japanese/English sentence pair. I've removed it from the set.

There were several issues:
• 第52第首相 should have been 第52代首相 of course.
• The English translation said "today", but the original version of the Japanese sentence did not.
• As for the content, according to the Western tradition, he was the 53rd prime minister, not the 52nd.
• It seems that in Japan terms of office would be counted rather than individual prime ministers, so they would count him as the 82nd and 83rd.
• The prime minister is designated by both houses of the National Diet, but it is the Emperor who formally appoints the prime minister.
The newly added Japanese sentences attempt to solve these issues. The English sentence and its translations remain unchanged, including the wrong romanisation of the name 橋本龍太郎.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I should have sent you a message.

I understand and appreciate the comments, but I was surprised that the original text of #122618 was replaced almost entirely. I thought the usual practice was to add a *new* sentence and add comments to the old one pointing out its faults.

From what I've seen, new sentences are added while nothing happens to the old ones, they're just left orphaned and without a comment (probably more time-efficient that way)
