*c'est pas parfait, mais c'est correct.
Si on se réfère à quelque chose qu'on pourrait acheter mais qu'on se retient dd'acheter, on dirait plutôt "Je ne fais que regarder".
Mais si quelqu'un nous presse de partir mais qu'on veut voir un truc en vitesse, on dit "je regarde juste un truc" ou "je regarde juste" sans préciser quel truc...

je pense que c'est une expression très moderne, dans cette forme sans objet. On l'entend de plus en plus fréquemment chez les jeunes.
