Does this question mean "how do people in general make a box" or "how do you, the listener of this question, make a box"?
"how do people in general make a box" is actually ''Bir kutuyu nasıl yaparlar?'' which also means ''How do they make a box?
This structure can be also used for the third person:
A and B are talking behind C's back:
A: İnanamıyorum. Böyle bir hatayı nasıl yaparsın?
B: Aynen.
And the translations of the sentences above are:
A: I cannot believe this. How do you make such a mistake? / How have you made such a mistake?
B: I agree.
A is talking about C, but uses second-person singular.
Another way for asking a general question would be:
Bir kutu nasıl yapılır? = How to make a box? How is a box made (by people in general)?
Thank you very much for your explanation!
