@check I don't know how Latin handles abstractly phrased / generalised nouns: here the English "I like Pizza" reflects "pizza" as a concept.
Does Latin do that, or does it prefer to generalise through plurals, eg:
* "Placentae Neapolitanae mihi valde placent."
In English you would have to say
* I like horses
but also
* I like pizza
You can say:
* I like horse
but it means you like horse as a food; but
* I like pizzas
does work.
@jimkillock, I'm pretty sure both "placenta Neapolitana" (as a general concept) and "placentae Neapolitanae" (emphasizing its several recipes) would be okay.
