Dieser Satz ist kein korrektes Deutsch. Bei dieser Übersetzung ist einfach stumpf die englische Satzstellung übernommen worden, obwohl in diesem Fall einfach nur Müll dabei herauskommt. Wäre also schön, wenn dieser Eintrag gelöscht werden würde...

The German translation "Sie ist sicher, erfolgreich zu sein" is plain wrong. This kind of word order may be possible in English, but definitely not so in German.

Thanks for your comment. It is interesting that the author of the sentence is a native German speaker. As an English speaker learning German, I'm disappointed to learn the sentence is wrong, because, if one can't trust sentences of native speakers, whose can one trust?

Dieser Kommentar ist für mich mülliger als der jetzt rote Satz. Wir machen alle mal Fehler. Ich finde, rintarou, Du bräuchtest ja nicht gleich so loszudonnern.

Andererseits frage ich mich, ob es nicht möglich ist, den englischen Satz so zu interpretieren.

@Lisa
Das wäre: She is sure she will succeed. (Habe mich erkundigt!)
