Es gibt den Ausdruck: uçan daire = fliegender Kreis. (entspricht im Deutschen: "fliegende Untertasse").
"Unidentified Flying Object" = "Tanımlanamayan Uçan Nesne".

Es scheint tatsächlich so zu sein, dass die Bezeichnung "ufo" sich im türkischen Sprachgebrauch eingebürgert hat.
Gerade technische Begriffe werden im Türkischen gerne (phonetisch)übernommen.

UFO refers to "Tanımlanamayan Uçan Nesne" in Turkish. We sometimes say "uçan daire", but say UFO mostly.
