    Before I correct:
    「私は他人に親切にすることが難しいとわかった。」
    Using「が」 it may means like there is another something not 「難しい」 mentioned or stated in contrast.

    Another difference using 「が」or「は」
    「が」: main point is 「他人に親切にすること」
    「は」: main point is 「難しい」
