Hi snsk, please, never add annotations in your sentences.
In other words, don't do this kind of thing:
- It's raining cats and dogs. (idiom)
- I like her/him.

Espi is right, but you can add as many translations as you want. You could split this into two sentences:
From
=> He/she laid down the gun on the floor.
To
=> He laid down the gun on the floor.
=> She laid down the gun on the floor.
Dear Espi, I had to write h/she because in Turkish "o" means both he and she depending on the context.
Taking into account alexmarcelo's advice, I will do that. (Thanks alexmarcelo).
