May be a silly question but why does "映画を見ていない" mean "haven't seen the movie" and not "Am not watching the movie." here?
Because Tanaka Corpus :)
Does it just have a lot of really dodgy sentences?
Yes, they can only really be trusted once someone owns them, and the few Japanese users are always working on that, but there's so many of them, and a lot of them are hard to fix/decipher
Good to change things like this or better to just leave a comment?
There's certain ways to deal with Tanaka Corpus sentences that I'm not very knowledgeable with, which I leave to CK, JimBreen and the Japanese users, so just leave a comment please ^^
Alright, thanks!
>May be a silly question but why does "映画を見ていない" mean "haven't seen the movie" and not "Am not watching the movie." here?

。※I like both of Tatoeba and Tanaka Corpas. That's a secret(話せば長くなるから ww)
