I tried to check whether anything of the sentence would be self-explanatory for an Arabic speaker, and I could only trace كشف, to discover/reveal. Are there any other words that could be understandable to an Arabic speaker? (faute de mieux, I compared the sentence to the English original).

Yeah, well, I only meant I had an association with Swahili ;-) The addition of a "t" at the beginning and end of a feminine noun, for instance, reminded me of some of the patterns of Swahili :)

The cases of the construct state remind me of Arabic and of Hebrew. By the way, in Hebrew we usually have a SVO sentences.

BTW, a "student", as you wrote, is "anelmad". It's quite easy for me (or for any Hebrew speaker, for that matter) to memorize this word, as "aní elmád" in Hebrew means "I'll learn"/"I'll study" :-) "talmíd" is a "pupil". Well, I guess it's the same as the Arabic "tilmídh". Is it the same origin of the Amazigh word?

How are the words accented? Are they accented on the last syllable, "anelmád", "idrimén"?
