Can a native speaker check this one?
I think it's OK.
My objection was that it's a difference between "having something for oneself" and "taking it for oneself". For example, I could give you something and you could have it for yourself
Thanks for pointing out the nuance. I thought the 'to herself' part might make 'had' interchangeable with 'took/got' in this sentence. I'm removing the review mark, but I'll also avoid changing or unlinking it as I'm still not 100% sure if it isn't close enough to match.
Instead, I've created two additional sentences with the difference you mentioned. One refers to a state, and the other refers to an action.
