思い出す???
I think there is a mistake between "remained" and "remind"...

Possible suggestion:
私が思い出すだけで = As best as I can recall, ...
I'm not 100% sure of the meaning in Japanese,
but my translation is certainly natural English.

If you click on the English sentence:
"There remained no more than 20 people in the village."
there are other Japanese translations of it
that look much better to me.
Perhaps this Japanese sentence should be added as a new sentence;
and then amended to be identical to one of the other Japanese translations
so that it will be auto-deleted.

Ok
I don't know the exact meaning, but I think it's a bad translation of the english sentence.

it's a bad translation.
The Japanese sentence says "As far as I can remember, there remained no more than 20 people in the village. "
