This would be easy to add an English translation to, assuming it's good enough for you to adopt it. Since there are now no attached translations, you may edit it a bit if you like.
A man said "try to a crisp" means "it’s so hot people will get hurt or sick”.
I wonder if it doesn't include "大変な日焼け" or "ひどい日焼け".
今日のような日差しだと is more like "On a sunny day like today" or less natural, "in the kind of sunshine that we are having today."
日焼け can either be suntan or sunburn, 大変な日焼け would only be a sunburn.
Sunburn = red. (people don't want this. It's painful.)
Suntan = brown (this isn't painful, but your skin turns darker)
