Was this previously "I was disappointed at your absence"? Now that I've adopted it, I can change it back if necessary.
Adopting is also about correcting, right? I can imagine saying "I was disappointed because of your absence," but I would prefer to follow official policy, so I'll change it back. Thanks for the guidance!
Thanks for your comment. So you're saying that you wouldn't correct it if it wasn't wrong, but you also wouldn't adopt a sentence that sounded odd to you, right? If I understand you correctly, you are okay with me adopting it and putting it back, since it sounds okay to me, right?
