Can this mean both "He got ahead of me" and "He followed hard after me"?
The sentence verbatim says: "he run-reached me", "he reached me running".
So "He got ahead of me" is what perhaps happens next, or maybe he slows down behind or beside me.
Do you think that "Li proksime sekvis min" (He closely followed me) should be a better translation? I will change it, if you consent.
