Preskaŭ ĉiam oni uzas "ventobato" au "ventopuŝo" sed la kialo estas estetika, muzika prefero; ne nepra lingva neceso. Se al vi "ventbato" plaĉas pli, tio estas en ordo.

Kontraste al tio, mi deziras klare malrekomendi la vortoformon "pluvfalo". Pro la leĝoj de similigo dum natura parolo oni preskaŭ neeviteble transformas ĝin en tiun direkton:
[pluvfalo] > [pluffalo] > [plufalo] (?plu-falo?)
Ĉiun ajn problemon ni evitas per "pluvofalo". Certe ankaŭ "pluvoverŝo", "pluvoduŝo" aŭ "duŝpluv(et)o taŭgas kiel traduko. Pledas por ili, ke ili sugestas mallongecon (dum pluvofalo povas esti mallonga aŭ longa) kaj la pluvosimila ŝ-sono ☺. "Ŝaŭro" ne enestas en PIV, sed estas uzata ekzemple en Vikipedio.

Nu, se temas pri la ekzisto de interradiko o-finaĵo, ne tiel gravas en skriba lingvo, ĉu ne? Sed mi mem dirus "ventbato" kaj "pluvfalo", kaj mi kredas, ke mi komprenus ankaŭ "pluvfalo".
