I should say this sentence suffers from an internal register conflict. From "I hope you will never turn communist," which is formal, this sentence moves to informal by contracting "you will"; but that's an unnatural half measure. Informal is "I hope you never turn communist."
Nonetheless good English: it certainly doesn't sound foreign.
