If not "It ain't like we gotta sell stuff, you know." then it's "We can't fix this by selling stuff!". (The situation) is not at the level where selling things off is appropriate (either too dire, or not that serious).

家電量販店の混雑としてはありえないというかありえないほどの人が集まり、転売目当ての中国人(一部品が何千万円の価値があると勘違いしている)も多数見られるような状況にも関わらず、これだけの人数と戦うには店員の知能レベル及び戦闘レベルが低いのではないのかとこの国の未来を危惧した男性は、店員は経験値稼ぎの旅に出るべきだと思い、その導入として店員に対し「物売るってレベルじゃねぇぞ」と叫んだのであった。

Maybe it's more like: You're not high-level (good) enough to sell stuff.

Anyway, it's clear that it was told by a customer to the employee.
