
Just a comment that the Japanese sentence has no reference to foxes or snares. The Japanese proverb roughly says that that loach isn't caught twice under the same willow.

Yes I've seen that Wikipedia entry. I came to this sentence because it had been linked to 泥鰌 as an example, for which is is quite useless.
