Hi, @issadouba. It looks like you may have adopted an English sentence. However, that should only be done by people who speak English at a native level. This particular sentence is not a good one. A better one would be "I abhor hypocrisy."
Hey,
I don't remember "adopting" any sentence in this website, I just remember translating it to Arabic after Tatoeba suggested to me.
Actually, I felt the structure of this sentence wasn't right but I translated it because it was recommended with many other sentences.
My Arabic translation is right.
I see. In general, it's best to avoid translating any sentence that you don't feel is 100% correct. Could you please explain what you mean by "Tatoeba suggested [it] to me" and "it was recommended"?
I remember having seen it in random sentences (in the contribution options) or maybe in the the main page. But I don't know how it was linked to me! I just translated it to Arabic.
But I will no longer translate any sentences that don't sound grammatically correct.
Thanks.
Could you please change the contents of this sentence to the following?
I hate hypocrisy.

I don't think modern writers would use this, but it is used in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and elsewhere.
