Plural or singular?
(French is plural and English is singular!)

could be either one (since nouns don't indicate number)

well it's better to make them plural >or< singular maybe... what do you think?

Well the English came before the French, so why not make it singular?

Also note that when the English and French match you could make a direct link between the two.
