Or maybe young men often sell it to other young men.
I don't want to adopt it, but I just wanted to say that 売られる never means "sell well".
I think at least the Japanese sentence is unlikely enough to be deleted.
I'll go ahead and delete it.
It's not one of those many sentences that I feel sound unnatural. It's simply wrong.
