I can't say this is definitely wrong, though I would argue it means, "raw eggs," which may or may not be fresh. But I'm not sure for, "fresh eggs," whether I would say <baQ> since they are "picked" like fruit or <ghoQ> since they are meat (though they haven't actually been killed).
Yes, I considered these words and had the same thoughts about being freshly killed or picked. I don't usually eat eggs myself, but my interpretation of "fresh eggs" are that they're uncooked.
