You cannot translate sentences because you did not add any language in your profile.
Should the translation be "There are over 15 different kinds of pies being prepared". You left out 用意 in your translation. Or am I being too literal?
Maybe it's something written on a sign at the baker's. The translation would seem OK.
Maybe it was text in a pamphlet or a written advertisement.
I agree that this isn't really a good out-of-context matching pair.
As far as I know, there is no way to really indicate this fact on tatoeba.org.
BTW, I think this is more likely a Japanese translation of the English sentence. It was likely just one of a series of sentences in a translation, so we are missing the context.
For the sentences that were imported from the Tanaka Corpus, you can't tell by the sentence numbers which were the originals and which were the translations.
Tanaka Corpus items have "date unknown" in the Logs on the right side of the page.
...ご用意しています doesn't mean "being prepared", but that we "offer 15 types", or "15 kinds are available."
Sorry I learned 用意 as some sort of preparation. Thank you for correcting me.
用意する can mean prepare, or make preparations.
There are plenty of examples of that on the Web.
