This sentence seems ancient and stilted to me, as hardly anyone sends telegrams anymore. Interestingly, the two Esperanto equivalent sentences use "telefonu al mi" ('Call me') instead of the more strictly accurate "telegrafu al mi" ('Wire me' or 'Send me a telegram').

More natural English might also change the "in case there should be" to the simpler foirm: "if there's an accident."
