The school was closed due to the snow.

The Japanese doesn't match the English, I've unlinked it.
I've added my translation "学校は雪のため休校だった".
To me, the main problem with the original Japanese sentence was the use of 閉鎖 rather than 休校. There are already 3 other sentences using 休校 for school closures due to snow, and 18 in total using 閉鎖, so I think I'll just drop #141996 altogether.
