Yes, of course there are several, but I think this precise one is probably the worst. One wonders who is this "He" who "increases knowledge and sorrows"...it's a bit ludicrous...

I do know that. But that doesn't grant the sentence anymore sense.
The general meaning of this is that "the increase in knowledge increases problems" but that increase doesn't have to be attributed to a given individual...
This is the poor result of repetitive bad translations from Aramaïc to Hebrew, to Greek, Latin and then English...with maybe even French or German in between...

Yeah, and the Bible translators are probably the worst translators of all, since they're eager to translate what they want to read in the scriptures rather than what is actually written...
