I think there are some translation issues here.

"Don't move, please" generally means that the person being addressed should not move. If you wanted to indicate that some object should not be moved, you'd add a subject noun or pronoun:

Don't move the box, please.
Don't move this, please.
Don't move it, please.
Don't move that, please.

The one exception would be if a note were left on a box. In that case, the note could say "Don't move, please" and people would assume it meant "Don't move this box" rather than "Don't move your body."

I believe that "Don't move, please" would be a better match for "Bitte bewege {dich|euch|Sie} nicht" (which exist, but only as indirect translations) than for "Bitte nicht bewegen."
