Is there any reason for adding sentences like these?
+1 to both comments!!
@corvard,
I can't delete this myself because I'll probably be accused of 'censorship', but you should think about how stupid this sounds and request deletion.
Let me quote part of what TRANG wrote about 'what kind of content we want':
What do we delete?
- Racist comments and personal attacks, if they are really harmful and there is a general agreement that it should be removed.

I'd like to invite other users to express their opinions about this particular sentence so we can do the right thing.
I absolutely agree that neither this nor any other offensive sentence concerning Mandela (or any other real person for that matter) should have a place at Tatoeba. I hope Corvard will see that no matter how he personally feels about certain people.
@corvard
Use your chance to brush away this before I'll do it.
forigu tion.
I agree with Lisa.
And what do you think about these sentences?

I think this is not offensiv because nobody specific is adressed.

No specific nation is adressed, but I would like to see this sentence deleted or changed by the author nevertheless. In my eyes this is an, sorry, extremely silly sentence. I'm convinced it doesn't fit into Tatoeba. And I hope the author will understand this.
I personally think the more sentences we have, the better. Even if they are like this.
I suggest you should *not* delete this sentence. After all, you could just change Nelson Mandela to Betty, or Tom, or Mary, or anybody else.
+1 to Impersonator for changing it to Tom/Mary.
I don't have a personal opinion in this case:
But Mandela remained on some US Terrorist Watch List until 2007.
Gandhi probably also has many old quotes about how horrible
he was written by British imperialists. But this isn't a historically attributed quote, and I agree it definitely serves no real purpose here.
Personally I'd change it to the name of a modern politician of any number of states I can think of. But that also would just serve to cause needless flame wars! If it has to be about Mandela, at least make it less immediately provocative. Or ya know, make your own blog if you want to express these things.
Deleted as overwhelmingly requested
