Now that I happen to look at the English version, it seems to me that the "need help in reserving" part is not actually there in the Japanese original - most likely not even implicit, since the statement amounts to no more than "if you prefer a room closer to the CC then please do contact me" (implying that the speaker will arrange things for the person being addressed).
