Should this not be "Ibaraki"? Certainly in various dialects the trailing "ki" sounds like "gi", but that is a Japanese pronunciation, not an English one. What do you think?

(... That assumes we are talking about Ibaraki Prefecture, of course. Well, either way, it would be good to have an explanation in the comments.)
