doesn't match Japanese and should be unlinked and/or deleted.

I can't see anyway to clean this sentence up without making large changes to the present sentence.

You can't directly witness to something, it would have to be bear witness to, or give witness to. that have their own distinct meanings.

So it would have to be She witnessed the man doing something. "She witnessed the man robbing the bank"
