Capital letter
It is considered entirely usual to avoid capitalising sentences. Since in ancient times there were no lower-case letters, there is no appeal to original intent, and Renaissance texts simply follow their local vernacular. The most serious modern texts are split on this topic. My personal preference is to capitalise proper nouns (including adjectives) and not sentences.
