"performance" is here ambiguous, since it can be understood as the "achievement" of a group (a team at sports, for instance) but also as the presentation by a band of musicians or actors.
While this could be possibly be considered ambiguous, the use of the word "enchanted" means it's not very ambiguous.
If instead the word "impressed" had been used, it would be much more ambiguous.
Do you mean that because it aroused enchantment, it has to be kind of artistic ?
