What is a "good hen" at all?
A "good hen" is likely one that lays more or better eggs.
The Japanese says "chickens," so I've added that version, too.
"Good chickens" can also mean that the meat is better-tasting or there is more meat on the chickens.
The Japanese 鶏 could be singular, too, but most people don't just keep one chicken.
