Hi, I'm rather dubious about the meaning of the Japanese sentence you translated. It doesn't have a ? or anything else to indicate it's a question and it's lacking a は between もの and 何だ.
It might be that the Japanese was supposed to be
手に入れたものなんだ。 = It's something I got hold of.
Yeah, it seems not quite clear now that you said it. Can we verify it with a Japanese native speaker? BTW the POL sentence means "What did you acquire?".
OK, I've changed the Japanese the minimum amount to, hopefully, make it match.
