確かに逆接の意味ではありません。

「ちなみに」のその前の文は一時的にちょっと違う話なったので、今から本題に戻ろうっていうことを発言するため、次の文を「Mais」から始まります。この辞書[1]に調べたら、I.2. の項目の意味です。

また、「だろう」の意味も持っています。問いが「Mais」から始まると、ちょうどその「だろう」の意味であります。前の辞書の II.2 の項目の意味です。
