Nomoj estas tradukeblaj kaj fakte eĉ traduk-endaj, ĉar ili formas nedivideblan parton de kulturo de nacio kaj/aŭ la lingvo. Oni ne devas traduki la nomon ĝenerale nur tiam, kiam oni certas ke temas pri persono aliliongva kaj alinacia kaj/aŭ kiam tio ĉi evidentiĝas en la kunteksto.

Tio estas via opinio, sed ne ĉiuj opinias same. Mi, ekzemple, pensas pri la tradukotaj frazoj ĉi tie, ke ili povus esti dirita (aŭ skribita) en iu speciala situacio, kiun mi traduku al alia lingvo. Kaj tial mi klare neniam tradukus nomojn.
Eble zipangu rigardas simile la problemon.
