pluvi = regnen
neĝi = schneien

Da das eine indirekte Übersetzung ist, weiß ich nicht, ob andere Sprachen ebenfalls betroffen sind.

Das ist wohl dadurch zustande gekommen, dass das polnische "padác" (=fallen) ganz allgemein für Niederschlag aller Art steht, so dass je nach Kontext sowohl "regnen" als auch "schneien" eine zutreffende Übersetzung sein können.
