Shouldn't you use the verb "kuulua":
Used to refer to the state of one's life.
Mitä kuuluu? - Kiitos, minulle kuuluu hyvää.
How are you? - I am fine, thank you.
"Kulua" means "to go by, pass by" (of time) or "to wear out" (of clothes).

By the way, there is no need for you to explain your suggestions so thoroughly. I'm a native speaker of Finnish, so I understand very easily why you suggest me to correct my sentences in cases like this also without further explanation. :) Of course you can do that if it makes you happy.
