Yes, actually, this is what I know.
Yet, it's not what the original sentence reads. This is why I asked what saeb meant in this context (as the original doesn't mention "approximately", or any similar expression).
If you wanna take a literal approach here be my guest, imho this is a normal way of stating it took 2 years, arabic texts tend to keep a probability
