« avérée vraie » est un pléonasme. Je dirais :
La rumeur s'est avérée exacte.
Il s'avère que ce que tu dis est vrai, mais comme le dit cet article (http://66.46.185.79/bdl/gabarit_bdl.asp?id=1965) le sens initial du verbe avérer a été un peu oublié. Je vais ajouter une traduction alternative.
