enfin je n'en étais pas complètement sûr, du coup. Mais là, c'est bien un cas où j'ai par exemple 2 numéros sous les yeux et je demande lequel des 2 numéros est le mien.
C'est différent de si je demande le numéro dans l'absolu, n'est-ce pas ?

Oui, c'est ça.
Et avant que tu ne me demandes comment on le demande quand on a pas un choix préscrit:
je suis trop fatiguée en ce moment pour le dire avec sécurité.
Je pense que ca doit être "Wie ist meine Zimmernummer?"
(l'autre possibilité serait "Was ist meine Zimmernummer?", mais je crois que c'est pas correct). verrons demain.

Bon, je suis sûre maintenant que la version avec "was" est correcte:

Also, ich denke, es geht sowohl 'was' als auch 'wie'. 'Was ist deine Nummer?' fragt nach einer mir selbst zugeordneten Nummer, also z.B. 'Ich bin die Nummer eins.' - 'Wie ist deine Nummer?' fragt nach dem Wortlaut der Nummer. Da bei einer Zimmernummer beides Sinn macht - Ich habe eine mir zugeordnete Zimmernummer und diese Zimmernummer hat eine bestimmte Größe/einen bestimmten Wortlaut - kann man beides fragen, denke ich: 'Wie ist (lautet) meine Zimmernummer?' und 'Was ist meine Zimmernummer?' ('Welches Zimmer ist mir zugeordnet?')
