Imo "any of them". Thus "irgendeiner" in German.

Sorry for my faults.
I'll translate "either" with "jede(r) von beiden" in analogy with the following example:
'either person would be fine for the job' = ' jede/jeder der beiden wäre für den Job geeignet' (source: Pons online).
