"Don't", not "didn't" ? Not that I can read Chinese, but it was "didn't" back a few links.

I think one of the translations in between must be wrong.
no it's just that Chinese has no real "tense", it can be both translated with past or present, it's the context which will decide. so it's just a back translation effect
